This is a 20-pin floppy ribbon cable designed for connecting an Apple II to the SPIISD, or for internal wiring in Macintosh systems.

We decided to hand-craft these cables ourselves after receiving several requests for high-quality floppy cables. They use premium wire made in Japan by Kaneko Cord Co., Ltd.
Please note: if the drive head’s magnetic strength has weakened, excessively long cables may cause read/write errors — especially with Sony-made floppy drives used in Macintosh computers.
 
The cable uses a soft, flexible material, making it easy to bend and route neatly inside your system. Choose the length that best suits your setup.
 
Since each cable is made to order, please allow up to five days for production, depending on our schedule.
